Some Basic Water FactsKauai has a coastline approximately 90 miles long and is known for white sandy beaches and an uncrowded atmosphere. The Island has 4 main areas that are equally wonderful to explore:
The North Shore has Anini Beach, Hanalei Bay, Tunnels Beach, and Ke'e Beach.
On the South Shore there is Poipu Beach Park.
The East Side has Kalapaki and Lydgate Beach Park.
While The West Side has Salt Pond Beach Park.
Each beach offers a unique experience so be sure to take a look at Kauai Explorer when you are planning your day on the sand – and always choose a beach that has lifeguards on duty, and always wear sunscreen. It makes your holiday safer and helps prevent sunburn!

Poolside, Rest and RelaxationSome days, lying by the pool and letting your thoughts “drift away” is the perfect way to let go of all the work, chores, and things that remind you of home. :- ) After all, that is what vacation is all about… right?
For example… take a look at the backyard pool at Waiohai Beach House in Poipu. The backyard faces the ocean, offers easy access to the beach, and look at that view! It’s spectacular!
Now, take a dip in the pool and let the Kauai sun dance across your body (sunscreen, yes?), while letting the ocean breeze blow your stress away. How about Enjoying a cool and refreshing tropical beverage? Combine that with the accompaniment of swaying palm trees, singing birds, and the lightly crashing waves… and you’ll be in heaven!
Some of our accommodations have swimming pools and we are happy to find one for you, your family and Friends. You ready for vacation?
