Fall On Kauai: Come Enjoy Casual Day(s)

Fall On Kauai: Come Enjoy Casual Day(s)
There is something quite amazing about Fall. Shadows from the sun lengthen. The air stays warm while the ground gets cooler. And kids all over are returning to school and getting ready for Halloween. Then there are folks like “some” of our Facebook Friends who forgot to take a summer vacation. J  Whuttt?

If this includes you or someone you know, we have a great plan for you!

This Fall, Kauai Vacation Rentals & Real Estate, Inc invites you to come Enjoy “casual” days here on the Garden Island. In fact, we really like to think of it more like “casual weeks on Kauai” filled with all the activities you day-dream about while at work.  Things like, taking a walk while holding hands on the beaches of the Coconut Coast. Grabbing your snorkel and swimming amongst Kauai’s lush marine life at Poipu Beach. Eating Bubba Burgers and shopping in Hanalei Bay before finishing the day watching the sun set over the North Shore at the Hanalei Bay pier.

So, we have a question!  Did you forget to take a vacation this year?

If you did forget and even if you did take a holiday, we invite you to read on because every day is a great day to Enjoy a casual day on Kauai – and we have some great ideas to help jumpstart your plans. Best part? When you are ready to come for a visit, you can stay with us!

Kauai Vacation Rentals & Real Estate, Inc has 200+ accommodations from the North Shore to the South Shore, the East Side to the West Side – and with 35+ years of doing business here on Kauai, we can assist you in creating the vacation of your dreams!

Spend an Afternoon Walking the Coconut Coast: The East Side

What better way to spend Fall on the Garden Island than to have an amazing walk amidst Kauai’s natural beauty? The Coconut Coast is an ideal area to relax and let yourself unwind.

The East Side of Kauai is home to 3 great beaches: Lydgate Beach Park, Kalapaki Beach, and Kealia Beach – and features a half-mile stretch of golden beach hugging the curve of Highway 56. Kealia Beach has a long sand bar bottom which provides a nice surf break. Visitors are asked to swim near the north end where a breakwater creates a protected area and where lifeguards are on duty.
See the photo above?  Imagine you and your sweetie taking a refreshing walk while the sounds and scents of the ocean reinvigorate your soul.  Relax… unwind… and let your “back at home” life melt into Kauai’s warm embrace. Maybe you will see a whale swimming in the distance. Maybe you will see a rainbow floating through the blue sky. Every day can be a relaxing escape and Kauai is here for you!

Enjoy a Swim on the South Shore: Poipu Beach

So far we have walked along the Coconut Coast and now it’s time to say Aloha to the ocean and have a wonderful swim at Poipu Beach Park. Refreshing waters, picturesque snorkeling, a kaleidoscope of marine life, and lifeguards! Yes, we want to remind you to always Enjoy Kauai’s beaches under the watchful eyes of lifeguards.

Poipu Beach Park also has a natural wading pool for young swimmers. This along with picnic facilities, showers and convenient pavilions make this a great beach for the whole family! Are you ready?

Spend the Day Hanging Out in Hanalei Bay: The North Shore

Hanalei is a fun area on the North Shore where you can spend the day eating some amazing Bubba Burgers, shopping for souvenirs, slurping shave ice, and immersing yourself in culture by visiting historical sites and art galleries.  The North Shore is perfect for relaxing and letting your soul direct you on your casual day with Friends or by yourself.

Watch The Sun Set on the Hanalei Bay Pier

After spending the day hanging out, invite your special someone to head over to Hanalei Bay Pier for a romantic sunset in paradise.   The pier was made famous in the musical “South Pacific” and continues being an icon for visitors from around the world. If you’re ready to lose yourself and stare out into the ocean while a Kauai breeze melts your stress away, then maybe it’s time to get yourself over to Kauai! Question is: are you bringing anyone with you?
